Post subject: Ongoing feral tank thread

Rather than scrawling notes all over my desk calendar, and then having to find them and copy them to the next page from month to month, I'm just going to start writing things down here as I do my druid theorycrafting, especially early here at level 80. Then I don't have to go trying to find some random obscure post in a massive Elitist Jerks thread or somewhere on TankSpot, or wherever else. And if anyone else wants to be a cool feral druid with their alts or something, they have somewhere to look. Basically, this is a ongoing piece of scrap paper, I guess.

RATINGS AND STATS:
1 STR = 2.4 AP
1 AGI = 0.012% crit (no DimRet), 0.025% dodge (max for naked Naturawr), 0.020% dodge (Naturawr at ~30% dodge)
1 STA = 16 HP
1 Dodge Rating = 0.025% dodge (max for naked Naturawr), 0.020% dodge (Naturawr at ~30% dodge)
1 Defense Rating = 0.0066% dodge (max for naked Naturawr), 0.0058% dodge (Naturawr at 30% dodge)
1% dodge = 50 AGI or Dodge Rating (or more, with DimRet), or 167 Defense Rating
(Confirm Dodge Percent from Defense Rating when I no longer have such small sample size)
Expertise: 83 mob should have ~ 6.5% dodge, 12-15% parry. Undodgable would thus require 26 Expertise, Unparriable would require 48-60 Expertise, depending what the exact number is. With Primal Precision, which provides 10 Expertise, this becomes 16 (Undodgable) and 38-50 (Unparriable) that must be gotten from buffs/gear.
(Unparriable should be more important given diminishing returns on avoidance. Avoiding unnecessary attacks is essentially more avoidance. How to budget for this?)

Feral staves will no longer have armor. Is this change retroactive (all feral staves, even TBC ones, lose their armor) or just no more will be made with bonus armor? Guessing retro.

ITEM ENHANCEMENTS:
Head:
Shoulder:
Cloak: Agi? Armor?
Chest: Stats/Straight HP? Figure this out
Wrist:
Hands:
Legs:
Boots:
Weapon: Mongoose is still the best tank enchant for druids. With single mobs, this should amount to slightly better average +AGI (~45-50) than the +35 AGI enchant. With multiple mobs, this should force 100% uptime, for the full 120 agility.

I hate people who do anything other than Mongoose on their tanking weapon.

It makes me cry every time I inspect them.

"But this one isn't a proc, so it's better amirite?"

/bitchslap

Yeah, Mongoose is still the best. :3

(edited to add:)
Though having a Blood Reserve weapon available for those fights where High Stamina is necessary but dodge doesn't contribute at all, is not a bad idea...
